Our Mission

ABOUT

The Rupert Village Trust is a nonprofit organization whose mission is historic preservation and community development in the Designated Village Center of Rupert, Vermont. Our first major project is a community center and café in the historic Sheldon General Store. With no other casual gathering place in town, we believe that this project will pioneer a trend towards social and economic vitality and a greater sense of community in Rupert.

Weekly Coffee Hour

Gather with neighbors and friends on Saturday mornings, 9 - 11, for freshly brewed coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and homemade baked goods. Each week features a different Flour Girl Bakeshop treat.

Drawing Night

Join us every first Wednesday of the month for our drawing night! Draw from a still-life or bring your own project. Dry media only. Bring your own drawing implements and paper. Everyone is welcome.

Potluck Dinner

Join friends and neighbors every first Friday of the month for our community potluck dinner! Everyone is welcome.

Monthly Music Jam

Bring your instrument, your voice, a song to share, or just play/sing along. All levels are welcome. This is for fun; it's not a performance. Jam sessions are the first Sunday of each month.

Game Night

Join us for Game Nights on the third Friday of each month. Scrabble, Chess, Ticket to Ride, Apples to Apples, Clue, and many, more. Play old favorites, try something new, or bring your own favorite game to share.
